Lifetime of R3S04 Hoosiers
I bought a GT4 race car with a set of used (4-5 DE's) R3S04 hoosiers, at first I thought tires were gone but the more I use them the better they seem to go. This is totaly unexpected anyone have a similar experience with Hoosiers. I hear everyone complain about how fussy the Hossiers are but these things are great for 2 year old tires.
Thanks, Phil |

I think you should keep using them all season
![]() I once asked my mechanic/racer friend in AZ to look at my track tires to see he thought they were ready for replacement. He took a close look at the tread surface and said, "I don't see any air yet, so you're fine".

That's a good one. However putting into perspective it's a DE. not a money/points race. Run them till the cord shows. than replace them. Of course if a deal comes your way for discounted rubber jump on them. So you don't have to skip events waiting for tires to arrive. |
