I've seen a video of that VW Bus before..it's crazy fast. I seem remember it has a GT2 or GT3 drivetrain in it. Someone posted to a video of it here or in the OT forum not too long ago.

Yeah, cool bus! I think that's the one with the Porsche drivetrain.
But hey, the guy in the GT3 isn't exactly setting the track on fire, so it's not that surprising. That looks like Spa Francorchamps. Au Rouge is the section before the pass.

Fun video.
Tyson, that GT3 driver needs some driving lessons from you.

OK, that's funny.
I wonder if he's got one of those little kitchens in the back?

I now have a goal in life. I'm going to work hard at becoming a competent driver. Then I'm going to make a total sleeper embarassing looking car just to annoy guys with GT3's.
Karman Ghia? Volvo 245 Estate? I could cut the body off my 993 and stick a Citron 2CV body on it...the mind boggles.

I've always wanted to build a Golf TDI boosted to the hilt, and fully track suspended.
Then paint it in a "Hello Kitty" livery, wear a pink driving suit and a blonde wig. So folks would think they got passed by a girly-girl driving a Deisel.

Did you mean to say, "wear a pink driving suit and blonde wig." out loud?
![]() "Hello Kitty" livery would be cool though.

I remember when Mike Marshall came out to Willow Springs in his Volvo wagon Turbo. We felt bad for the fellow in the Viper that he passed coming out of turn nine. Poor guy looks over to see he just got passed by a Volvo wagon with a baby seat in the back no less! Priceless.

Thanks Dan
.... As a former owner of a '62 split window I can fully appreciate the immensity of the project. I was only running a 1776cc with webers....nothing remotely as intense as this. Thanks again !!
