I think that's the "Here's your F-in point by, and I won't lift on the straight" signal. It could also precede a good ol' brake check...

I know some of the newer P-car drivers don't flash or wave anymore, but jeez, this is a bit over the top don't you think?

It may be just me but it seems like many Boxter owners don't even recognize a 911, old or new. (warning! broad stereotyping ahead) Any 911 owner (old or new) will at least look at another 911 indicating recognition but Boxter owners seem to be oblivious.

Bring on the flames....

This image was taken at Topeka PCA club race a year ago at the start. Rain, rooster tails and near zero visibility. My car is the white one on the left. The owner of the black 911 in the foreground calls this shot, "Vipers in the Mist." Our red headlight covers with lights on makes a sinister look. Just a kewl racing shot.

Ha- nice first post Jack!

Did you notice the first pic in campbellcj's post right above yours has my car in it, back when it was red? In the good ol' days of VARA when there were Porsches-a-plenty in C production.

Aston, it looks like you are running 17's. The rear wheels are nicely tucked under the fenders. What is the suspension set up? Did you relocate the pick up points?

Thanks.

17s 8/10, 225/275. Plus 8/15mm spacers

R fenders are rolled and stretched about as much as I can.

Trailing arms are stock, with coil overs. Camber is maxed at 2.5.

Pick up points are stock.

Front control arms have been stretched and spindles raised.

I did put some foam rubber strips inside the r fender so i can see how close the tire is under full cornering load. Rubber is now about 1/8" thick!
