Smokey Mt. DE @ Talledega
Anyone planning on going to the SMT DE at the Talledega GP? I sent my application in and will be driving the 996.
I have not been to this track since they expanded it last year. I am interested in meeting any Pelicans that will be there. My 74RS replica will not be quite ready in time for this event. Mark |

I *might* be interested in going, but it is the weekend after we get back from a family vacation, so the timing is not good.
I've done a DE with the new configuration (and lots with the old) and I really like the new one. It is actually quite a bit of fun. I think you'll really enjoy it. The skidpad is a lot different and the new straight has an interesting kink at the end, but otherwise, it will feel very familiar.
