I'll be skiing in Mammoth for a week with my wife, Dawn. After that, we'll have to take it easy on the finances for a bit because she's scheduled for fairly major surgery on the 28th and will be out of work for a few weeks afterward.

I just received an Email from Johnny, and to date there are only 7 people signed up!

Let's not lose this track day, like we did last February!

$155 gets you (5) 30 minute sessions, instruction, and all the food you can hold down for lunch!

Not looking good... Johnny was proposing that if we got at least 15 people signed up, and we convinced those who did sign up to pay more money, we could keep it on. Imagine a track day with only 15 cars? We could run it open all day long with no run groups! It would be like a private track day! Anyway, I have not heard anything yet... I'd be open for doing this, how about you?

I am price sensitive (I am trying to do one event per month this year). I'd pony up $200 for a full day, but not much more... the threat of weather is fresh on my mind after last weekend.

I'm so bummed! You guys might want to check out the Speed Ventures event at The Streets of Willow this Friday, February 8th. I think there's still room and it might be perfect timing since you've recently driven The Streets with the POC. This'll be my first event with Speed Ventures but I've heard very good things about them and have seen them in action at an event at California Speedway in conjunction with the POC last year. Hmmm... I might just do that. What run group are you in Andrew? You have considerably more time on that track than I do... Not to mention 150 more hp! What group should I be running in if I go Andrew??

I'll be running in the Blue group. You're a very skilled driver but I don't know your comfort/confidence level on The Streets. I suggest you call Aaron at Speed Ventures and talk to him. He'll steer you in the right direction. The phone number is on the website.
