Question Where to stay at VIR?

Need to make reservations at VIR. Hopefully somewhere cheaper than The Lodge. Suggestions?

A lot of us stay at the Sleep Inn on 58, it's around 15 minutes from the track. Ask for their VIR rate, around $79 I believe.

I think that's what the Audi Club uses as their event hotel

I stayed at the lodge last year and it is very nice and convenient. This year it is sold out so we am in one of the Villas on the main floor. When are you going Rob?

The Villas are nice. My sisters, BILs and I often rent an entire Villa which ends up slightly cheaper than 3 rooms in the Lodge. We ask for one with a grill and invite a few friends over for steaks and wine one night.

The Best Western in Danville is my choice. It's right past the airport/sleep inn area, nice place with a pool and hot tub. Usually pretty quiet.

I made a reservation for a junior suite at the Villas for that same November weekend this morning, so there should still be something available. Maybe not the cheapest, but the convenience os staying on the grounds is great. Or try the front straight rooms, they are a little less money.
