hoosier radial compound designations
Just found out something today. Hoosier has changed the compound designations on the new generation of radial tires. Tires uses to be R35, R34 etc with R35 being the softest. With the new radial slicks the soft compound is R75 and I am told it is softer than the R35. So anyhow if you are looking through the tires and overlook some because they don't list R35 you might want to call hoosier and find out what the current compound is for that designation.
Point is R75 in the new Radial Road Race Slick is an autocross tire. If this has been covered sorry I did a quick search and didn't really see much.
