Roll Cage Software

Is there a software package to help design and construct roll cages.

I have a couple of projects I am working on.

Would like to have something that can help with the design,
create a BOM, and also create mechanical drawings with lengths,
bend angles, cuts, etc.

thanks,

Mike

Built my cage using the Pro software, works great and easy to use.

I don't really think you need software for this, but Grape is a free program you can use to analyze cages/spaceframes, I don't think it has the capability to create BOMs and drawings but then again most rollcage shops wouldn't know how to read them anyway

That is funny. It is WAY boring learning all the minute standards for BOM, drawings, etc.

Solidworks does good drawings and BOMs but the only way to make a cage would be with lots of circle tubes shelled out and extruded from countless reference planes. Not fun with all the construction dimensions.
