tie cage into seat mount and lap belts
Ive built a cage once and Ive read a fair bit on the subject and seen lots of pictures. I feel I can do a good job when I take my bolt in cage out and do a proper cage in my 944. Where I have no experience is connecting the seat mounts to the cage.

Question 1) I can leave the seat bolted to the floor, which is what all my track cars have, or I can improve on that. This car will be pretty fast and I would rather do it right so I need advice because if I do this part wrong I can introduce problems I dont forsee. The current seat is on sliders and Im going to remove them to lower the seat as my helmet clearance isnt what it should be. This means I probably need to fab up something anyways. I assume its safer to integrate the seat into the cage somehow. Are there any guidelines on this or advice you can offer? My club rules dont touch on this subject and I really have no idea how to properly do this.

Question 2)
I have always connected the lap belts using the factory lap belt holes. Im not sure that this needs attention. Double shear it is all I can think of. Comments? The location of these may not be ideal and maybe they also need to be tied into the cage so they stay in line with the seat?

Question 3) Seat back brace. I know what they are and what they are for. What I dont know is the proper design of one.
