Roofnet for racing - pics
I'm posting this up because there wasn't much info on it when I was searching.
My club requires a roofnet or arm restraints if you have a composite roof panel. I'm not a big fan of arm restraints so I needed a net. Most cages are different and the only "off the shelf" roofnets I have seen are for stockcars. I called Teamtech and exchanged a couple of emails with pictures and dimensions of my cage. There are a couple of fastening options, I wanted to make sure the net was tight and out of the way, I also didn't feel like fabricating anything new so I had them make the net with the straps on it. A couple of weeks later it was at my doorstep. The fit was excellent and it went on as designed, nice and tight. Cost was $185. Here's a few pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Looks great. I've worked with Teamtech on several custom roof nets for the composite top Boxsters. They are always great to work with and have delivered a good product. I'm not a fan of arm restraints either so I was happy to find another solution.
