65, thanks..By chance do you have the torque for the hardware, and nominal dimensions for the caster rods?

I think the original Cary Eisenlohr ERP fastners were aerospace fasteners. Mine have been replaced aerospace spec (MS•NAS•AN) from Coast Fabrication.

http://www.coastfab.com/images/pdf/2010/torque.pdf

T = KDP

• T
Target tighten torque (the result of this formula is in inch pounds, dividing by 12 yields foot pounds
• K
Coefficient of friction (nut factor), always an estimation in this formula
• D
Bolts nominal diameter in inches
• P
Bolt's desired tensile load in pounds (generally 75% of yield strength)

For the rod ends - length of thread engagement between 1 times and 1.5 times the (major) diameter of the fastener.

Here's an article I wrote last year for Vintage Motorsport magazine. It's all about nuts, bolts and torque. It's in 2 parts. Enjoy.
