Learn me data

Matt's thread got me thinking ...

I've had an AIM Solo for a year or so, though I've only used it as a lap-time-toy rather than the tool I know it can be. I've tried to decode some of the data, but it seems daunting. So how do I break through the numbers? Are there any books or sites you can suggest to help me decode what I'm looking at?

Check out TrailBrake.net - Home for some tips on how to use the data. I'm a little partial, but their is lots of good info there.

I think the best book to get started is Chris Brown's Making Sense of Squiggly Lines. Buddy Fey's Data Power is great because of all the Rules of Thumb that are in it. Also, Bob Knox's book A Practical Guide to Data Analysis is really good because it has all the math channels written out for you to copy.

I have a bunch of them at Data Reading - TrailBrake.net
