Decibel Reduction - Laguna Seca
I'm investigating into methods to reduce the decibel level from my 2.5 liter short with Buckley headers and exhaust. The engine is WAY louder than the 103 decibels allowed. Anyone try these Dynatech Vortex Cones?

I have Phase 9's that get me to ~97 db. My engine was tuned that way and with it (a 3.6) there was no real benefit to going to something less restrictive (our class has a specified maximum for header tube diameter (1.625" OD). I know they are also used on a bunch of the Spec911 cars that have 3.0 or 3.2's.
For 92 db at Laguna I have a bolt on replacement for the Phase 9's that is an early 911 'banana' style muffler. It has a different MoTeC map and has less power, but keeps me legal on the few occasions I run on a 92 db day.
