Back in the Saddle at the WeatherTech International Challenge

Family, remodel projects and unexpected spun rod bearings sidelined racing activities in my 914-6 vintage racer the last couple years, however I returned to the track this past weekend at one of my favorite events, the WeatherTech International Challenge at Road America. This event has long been an annual summer family vacation and I've been privileged to race in it ~15 times. Needless to say it was good to get back. There were a few bumps in the road throughout the weekend, but all in all it was a great return back to racing the 914-6.

I put together a blog post recapping the weekend, including photos and in-car video. It highlights unexpected and uncecessary transmission swaps, tire blow outs and junior (really junior) crew chief mentoring. You can check it out here: Back in the Saddle at the WeatherTech International Challenge at Road America | Morrie's Heritage Car Connection | MHCC

And of course, here are a few obligatory photos.
