Track Wheels

I just cracked an original Fuch wheel, 8X16. An original used one is really expensive. Are any of the new Fuch wheels strong enough for racing? Or, any suggestion for wheels?

Thanks in advance!

Braid Wheels - they are light (8x16 about 14lbs) and strong

Yes, Braids. Best choice by far in Fuchs lookalikes.

How old was your wheel? Probably a good idea to get a new or new wheels.

A few years ago I bought a couple of new 8 x 16 Fuchs, from Wheel Enhancement, not sure of their availability at this point.

I have owned Braids and I wish I still owned them (sold them). Another consideration would be the Accumoto Fuchs.

Porsche makes brand new forged Fuchs wheels......this is my choice...I have seen others with Fikse and Braid and they are also great! If I was racing I wouldn't be looking at anything else for Fuchs.

Aluminum wheels have a service life. All Aluminum wheels. The older the wheels, the more they are probably toward the end of their service line.

I've broken my share of wheels (Sebring) buy new - buy strong
