Race Car websites

I'm looking for a Vintage Race Car. Does anyone have any recommendations of websites to visit? Thanks in advance.

Look at VARAC's website , they are very involved with vintage racing , maybe you could find a useful link , as they do have classifieds.
I race in their events at Mosport and it's always a well organized venue !

What are you looking for? I have a recently completed vintage legal IMSA GTU style 914-6 I'm going to be selling soon.

Cory,
I've checked racejunk, bringatrailer, ebay sites daily.
I'm partial to the 911 but would entertain the 356 or maybe even the 914 as well.

Here's a few pictures. It has a low hour race built twin plug 3 liter, regeared 915 trans with lsd and cooler, 935 suspension, turbo brakes, digital dash with data acquisition, and lots more. Jae at Mirage just went through it. Race ready.

Some of the best race cars aren't even advertised. Ask around at local shops who might know of folks looking to sell. Check your local PCA/SCCA/etc regions. Depending on how soon you are looking, go to events near you and walk around the paddock and ask around.

If that's the 914 I think it is, it's nicely done and holds at least one track record.

Cory, Love the car. It looks like a very high end built and probably out of my budget range at the current moment. The "Competitors view picture" is awesome. LOL.
Thanks for the links too. I saw the one website and have it saved.

Ted,
I could not figure out where the contact info was about the car or even how to find the cars for sale there. That website or page is horrible to navigate.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Seems like vintage racecars don't have a great centralized online forum or "go to" source of info. Maybe some of the older drivers don't spend as much time online, or they just pay a shop to take care of everything. You might be best served by finding out the local clubs and attending some events, talking to competitors and shops. Often good cars are never advertised, the shops sell them to other customers, friends, etc.

Where do you buy light wheels?

Hi I am looking for a pair of 17 x 8.5 or 9 inch 15 mm off set.
Where do you find new or used light weight wheels?
Thanks John
