I would not mess with this and instead would get ERP 935 A-arms.

Too expensive and won't fit under my 15s, if I've gotten the dimensions right...
I've shaven down the big ball joint castle nut, removed the cotter safety pin, all to get a few mm of clearance. Tightened the nut down with a chisel and sledge hammer.

Otherwise the adjustability would have been just super.

Not sure what you mean? Just a normal alignment?

Just getting top dead center of steering wheel to match up with shackle on steering .

I assume done underneath. I hooked mine up and didn’t check to see if rack was in the straight position.

Not questioning your fabrication skills, but don't under-estimate the loads that the A arm will see. The rotational load will be less since you've got coilovers as you've noted, but the lateral loads will still be there on the A arms when cornering, and also the longitudinal loads when braking.

You can get ERP with heim joints instead of ball joints....and the spindle height can always be adjusted to make room....

I have just gotten an alignment and done my first Auto-x:ish (very fast slalom course).
Settled for 3 degrees of camber, 7+ degrees of caster and a slight toe in.
Front end feels very nice. Could have gotten more camber and more caster if I wanted.

The rear however is somewhat "lively" and very demanding on the road....
I have about 3.5 degrees of camber in the rear with some toe in.

I think it would be better with only 2 degrees of camber in the rear.
I have ~285s on 11" rims, relatively light car (2400lbs total, 1500lbs rear, including driver) with 400/600lbs springs?

Is my thinking correct that less camber would/could be better when you are stiffly sprung and have wide wheels?

7+ plus the add camber curve sounds great!

extra grip in front is probably the reason the rear feels lively.... perhaps keep the rear camber at 3 soften the rear springs and or get smaller front tires?

...or get wider rear tires , I got room for more rubber there.

But I just feel that I don't get the full potential out of the rear and its very darty.

Michelin TB5.
The size is declared 23/60 (270) in the front and 26/62 (285) in the rear.

There is a rear 29/xx (305) availible.

The 26/61 is recomended between 9.5" to 11" rims and the next size 29/61 (335) from 11"-13". So next set might be 29/61.

Haven't taken any pictures, that I can find. Doesn't look much different because the aren't much wider than what was on it, but the increased caster has nearly eliminated the tire scrubbing against the wheel well, its just touches when I turn full left.

Got some other issues with this car, this is one...
