1983 Porsche 911 SC 1 Owner California Car Desirable Color Combo Cognac Interior
1983 Porsche 911 SC
Asking $36,500 Obo VIN wp0aa0917ds120451 154k miles This SC has had 1 owner its entire life and is a great driver quality California car with a clean car fax.Car was originally blue and resprayed to black with a gorgeous Cognac color interior. Paint shows nicely overall with a couple imperfections here and there as expected with a car that is 35 years old and been driven. The rear deck lid has some cracks in the paint by the badgeing small crack in paint on the cowl close to the hood and the front right fender has a small area of paint run otherwise common rock chips on the front fascia as a result of being driven regularly for 150k miles. Body lines are very straight and the underside of the car is super solid as seen in photos. The interior is absolutely gorgeous. When you get in it the seats are plush and car looks like beautiful vintage Porsche.Cognac color is beautiful and contrasts with the black exterior very nicely. The dash is not cracked and overall the inside is really clean and comfortable. The headliner is nice the door panels are gorgeous and all he electronics work as they should. The Steering wheel is very nice MOMO brand and has great feel when driving. All gauges work and the AC is functional however like all 911 SC of this era doesn't get very cold. Aftermarket radio is older but the speakers and radio work Driving performance of our SC is really amazing. The car turns on immediately and every time without any hiccups. Engine is really strong and pulls nicely through all the gears. 915 transmissions are known to be problematic with the synchros and grind easily,this car does not grind in any gear and goes smoothly through all the gears like new. The clutch is soft and very easy to engage. Car has older Michelin tires that are dry rotted and need to be replaced. Brakes are solid and car stops nicely without vibrations.
