1978 930 rsr

The Porsche 934 has always been my favorite. So my vision was to do a project that encompassed everthing I loved about the car but at the same time make it more reliable, predictable and just a blast to drive. With that said I enjoy the builds more so time to sell and start another project.
The known history of this car is three previous owners in Colorado and one in New Mexico. I am the current owner. Purchased the car in 2006 and started the conversion the same year, completing the project in 2017. The car was totally disassembled, stripped to bare metal , 1.5” tube six point cage and rear camber box installed, epoxy primed and painted. Front and rear mounted Tarett 935 suspension , Tarett front sway bar, 935 style sway bar rear. Front and rear Bilstein coilovers , RSR cartridges, Hypercoil springs, front 450 and rear 600. Installed centerlock spindles from Retro Sport. 934 center lock rotor hats from Burbank Coach Works and using 930 brakes. BBS E56 3 piece center lock wheels ,17”x 10.5 front,17”x 13 rear with Hoosier R6,245/45R17 front , 335/35R17 rear.
930 engine rebuild was done by Greg Johnson at Eurosport Ltd of Denver. Some of the engine mods and parts included shuffle pin case, Mahle 3.4 p/c set, Carillo rods, 964 cams, GT3 oil pump. Fueling with a Weldon D 2015-A fuel pump, Flowtech rebuilt M 007 Bosch CIS fuel distributor and warm up regulator. Engine oil cooling done by three front mount setrab coolers.Custom Laminova intercooler/ EWP water pump cools charge air for engine and supplies water cooling to Borg Warner 7670 EFR turbo with custom 934 style headers. Two Naca ducts in the rear quarter windows supply extra air for cooling. Engine and 930 transmission have Wevo mounts. Andial clutch with high torque pressure plate. 930 Hargett Pro shifter was added.
Electrical and Switch controls are Infinity Box 3 cell system. Switches control Ignition, Start Lights,Fuel pump, Cold start switch, Water pump, Turbo scavenge pump, AIM data / video devices.
AIM data logger sensors include Six CHT, Two intercooler temp, AFR, Boost pressure, Fuel level, Engine temp, Oil pressure, and RPM. AIM Pista instrument display data logger with AIM smarty cam and AIM GPS for track video recording. Also there is a seperate EGT gauge. Turbo boost controlled by HKS EVC-S boost pressure controller. Two settings programmed currently for .09 and 1 bar using Sunoco 104 oct race fuel.
Car has Cobra Evolution Race Seat with slider and Schroth five point harness. Removable steering wheel hub. There is a driver side Rennline track mat and pedal board. There is a fire extinguisher but no on board fire system. An emergency shut off switch is located driverside by front windshield. There is a 17 gal Fuel Safe storage tank that displays and can track fuel level on the AIM data display. The Kremer Jagermeister Livery was created by Magnagrafik. Car weight without driver and ten gallons of fuel is 2402 lbs.
