Boxster 2.7 Race/Track Car
 

CAR IS SOLD I purchased this car in April 2023 with the intent of doing some track days and perhaps some races in HSR. Those plans have changed. The Prior Owner (PO) purchased the car through Speed Sport Tuning about four years prior to my purchase. The car was professionally built for E class PCA Club Racing and was seldom raced. The PO subsequently used the car for PCA Driver’s Eds only and reportedly attended approximately 10 DE track days a year. According to the PO “The car has been very reliable under my ownership with just consumables needed.” The PO also advised “I have obtained multiple oil analysis checks from Blackstone.” Speed Sport Tuning told me, the seller, that the car was originally built by DeMan Motorsport in New York.

The car is in its original factory black paint, except for the GT3 nose and rear wing. The paint presents very well but there is the usual rash associated with track use. The interior is completely stripped except for the beige stock dash. Light weight door cards replace the stock type. All the lights and gauges work, as do the wipers. The car retains the factory glass, and the door windows remain electrically operated, as do the door, frunk and trunk lid locks. This makes it very convenient for open trailering without concern for weather or unwanted access. The air conditioning/climate controls remain a part of the car and are functional. The car was retrofitted with a 996 gauge cluster that provides for oil pressure and volt meter gauges, which were not included on the Boxster as new. The car is dry underneath and uses no oil.

As noted, the car is perfect for open trailering. It runs on 93-octane pump gas, which is roughly the third of the cost of race fuel. As is, the car is very versatile but could be taken to the next level without a lot of additional work/cost. There is a good deal of weight that could be removed from the car if someone wanted to make it an all-in race car. As noted, the car has original paint and no sign of any crash damage. The hardtop is a factory unit and is in very good condition. A clean CarFax is available upon request as is the Blackstone Laboratories oil analysis results for the past four years. The car will be sold on a bill of sale. Price is $26,000.00 and located in Dade City, Florida.
