WTB: 1971 and 1972 911S Coupes

Like many, I am looking for an all original or fully restored 71 and 72 911 S'coupe. Will pay up to $60K for the right car.

$60K? Are you kidding? What planet did you just land from? $60K will get you a well-used early 911 "T" model with high miles and non-original paint. Sheesh, some people want everything.

I have a 72 S coupe, European delivery car, matching numbers, factory Black, Sunroof, electric windows, tinted glass. It's not for sale but maybe you could prize it out of my hands before I start the resto

No Guys, I love the car, Scott is a friend of mine, I sold him some sports seats a couple of weeks ago and I was just teasing him,
He knew about the car already.
It's going in for resto end of next week, I have some new front fenders already and a pair of correct Recaro's for it, also a better engine lid, carpets and rear seats.

Couldn't pass up an opportunity to rib you a little Ian.

I just hope the PO doesn't contact ME. I promised him I'd send some pics of the resto! And I really don't want to explain...

Hey Jason, don't worry, I'll send you some pics and you can pass them on to him.
Best Regards
Ian

Is 69 911s Targa up your alley? Runs, but need some body work to complete.

Thanks but already have every year of S except a 72. I do have a 71, but would like to upgrade it to an original paint car.

Thanks
Scott

I figured you would see this ad Paul.

I just sold the old Todd Webb, Gary Wright car after 15 years!!! You would not believe what I got for her. You know it was big! Hence money in hand for the right car! Sure would be nice to have a green 72 in the collection!!! Hint Hint.

Funny you should mention Tod Webb as I own his 1963 Super 90 Sunroof Coupe with 36K on it.

I figured it was you... Sorry, but I "need" my car more than I "need" $60K. I mean, I'd never be happy with a Boxster or a Z-06 'Vette. Just not many new cars out there that interest me. Damn...I was hoping I'd win the lottery before you decided to sell the silver weenie... for those here who don't knowwhat the silver weenie is? Here's a pic I took back in the early 70's...a factory prepped car, built for racing in the USA prior to the 911R, and since what(?) only 6 were made, rarer than the 911R.
