1986 951 - 400+hp
This car has been listed/bumped on this site multiple times, but Motor Werks Racing (Cumming, GA) has completed my project and its time to sell. I live in Italy, the car is in Norcross, GA and I just don't have space in my life for it. The new engine has been broken in, dyno-tuned and street tuned. I've driven the car a few times and all I can say is that it's a monster, it's pretty racey for a street car but its "point-a to point-b" mannerisms really aren't too bad and open roads will put a smile on your face every time.
The interior is about halfway converted to black (door panels, dash, rear buckets and console dyed black). The upholstery and carpet are brand new (stock insulation and sound proofing have been removed and replaced with brand new low-E insulation installed under the carpet). The car has brand new paint that has barely seen light of day. As can be seen in the pictures below, the drivers side was not finished as well as the passenger side following the new paint. Aside from that, the body is straight and as you can see she photographs/shows pretty well. The hood, slotted nose piece and bumper cover are all fiberglass. The block was completely stripped down and sleeved with the MID wetsleeves from Darton, then bored to a 2.7L. $15k gets a turn-key 400+hp 951 on new tires and ready to enjoy. The modifications are listed below, PM me with any questions/offers. - Custom 2.7L MID wetsleeved block Click here for more info - Garrett Super 75 ball bearing turbo/ 8cm2 - Custom Diamond Racing 104mm pistons - Lindsey stage 1 racing head/high velocity exhaust - #274 grindshaft racing cam - Spec stage 3 hybrid clutch - 55lb siemens injectors - Bosch high volume fuel pump - adjustable FPR - Lindsey 951 MAX custom chips - Lindsey wastegate - Lindsey manual boost controller - Lindsey hard pipes - Lindsay stage 2 MAF - Innovate o2 system - Lindsey stage 3 intercooler - 3" race exhaust - Crossdrilled crankshaft - Raceware headstuds/rod bolts (never need replacing) - Cometic head gasket - Koni Yellows - Drilled Zimmerman rotors w/hawk racing pads - Genuine 996 twist wheels - Momo steering wheel Other notes: - PS/AC removed (Lindsey delete bracket for AC) - No front signal lights or fog lights (all wires still remain) - No catalytic converter - Engine was totally rebuilt, all gaskets, belts, bearings, rollers etc are brand new

NEW PICTURES - The car has about 300 miles on the new engine, starts right up every time and is extremely strong. The only issues not mentioned are: passenger side trigger for handle is broken, the rear hatch rattles and the clearcoat on the drivers side light cover cracked (as seen in photo). Overall the car is in good shape but this thing is definately a driver, ridiculously fast (I can't imagine what it will be like with more boost, shop said it's good to go up to 22psi once the engine has a couple thousand miles on it) and really well put together. Not mentioned in the mods list: Super blue racing brake fluid (entire system flushed), OEM lug nuts, Sumitomo HTR-ZIII tires, street-performance wheel alignment.
