Adding CA BLUE plates.

Hello, I know this has been discussed a million plus times. But what I have never seen is an exact answer. I haven't seen a thread where the questioner ever replied to their own thread on what happened..

So I will ask..

I have a set of Blue plates Id say early 80's.. Can I walk into AAA with them ask if they are clear and switch out the plates to go on my 79 porsche. and give them my boring white ones. I see so many maybes and Ideas on here, but I'd love to hear if someone has ACTUALLY done this. please respond if you've experienced the YES or NO's on this with AAA

thanks

reed.
