1969 Porsche 911E - 19500 obo

for sale is my 69 911E, vin 119220689. i purchased this car spring of 09 from a gentleman in ohio. its previous life was spent in california as of the 1980's with a air force pilot. car came with a giant envelope stuffed with receipts since the 80's, pictures and a vhs tape of the car then. certificate of authenticity shows the car was originally tangerine with a factory sunroof. no other interesting options.

it has a 78sc 3.0L motor with a 915 trans. it runs perfect and fires up every single time with now problems. odometer shows 107,500 mi i have put about 10k miles on it since my ownership with a few long trips and zero disappointments. engine seems to have been rebuilt about 20k ago, from what i can gather from the receipts left with the car. it is always garaged and well taken care of and is mechanically solid. it is a perfect driver with the usual minor blemishes, dings, or scratches. it has NO rust on the tub at all, battery boxes are rust free and the front pan was replaced by a previous owner. it shows very well and is a perfect canidate for someone looking to restore an early E or do nothing and just drive it and enjoy it! as stated in the title, im looking for 19,500 obo. dont be afraid to make an offer!!!

as with any car there are some things that need attention. the car was updated to a 964 appearance by the ohio owner. i have since removed most of those things and been steadily converting it back to somewhat original appearance. the front hood latch area needs a replacement piece welded in to replace the original latch mecanism because of the 964 short hood that was on it. as mentioned there are some minor blemishes with the finish, couple cracks in paint. there is also one broken head stud found which would need to be addressed in the future. front bumper could use an undercoating.

since my ownership i have serviced and updated the following:

-rebuilt all brake calipers (including two front aluminum calipers), replace all pads and install braided lines

-refinished 7/8 x 15 inch fuchs and fitted with new tires (apprx. 8k miles on them) fuchs have polished lips and NO curb rash. painted to original tangerine color of car.

-installed car with adjustable spring plates with new bushings and a ride height adjustment

-installed H4's

-valve adjustment, all fluids changed regularly, including gear oil. during valve adjustment one head stud found to be broke

-new cap/roter/plugs/braided stainless wire set, airfilter

-replaced all fuel lines with rubber lines (except two lines running through the tunnel, which were checked and fine), new fuel filter

-complete cv joint service done

-updated fuel tank with an sc

-updated oil tank

-interior completely refurbished, new carpet, seats, still have original back seats in storage. new dash material, rewraped steering wheel. racing belts with shoulder straps. custom made door panels with pull straps.

-custom exhaust thats loud with a great sound

please email me at with any other questions or inquiries. i can take some better pics(i appologize for the haziness) of whatever you would like to see or want. i also can highly recommend a local shop for a prepurchase inspection if requested.

update !!!!!

i just got off of the phone with the shop. i am going to have a pre purchase inspection done myself so that everyone will have access to this information and make it easier for everybody. this is a highly recommended and knowledgeable shop here in the allentown, pa area. you should check out there website www.specialtycarsservicecentercom. we are hopeful that he can complete it by this weekend and i will be able to send the pics/specs and other information to anyone seriously interested in the car. i will also send you contact information so you may speek directly with the shop to answer any more questions that i do not have the answers to. i feel this is the most honest and best way to make both parties happy and pleased.

ive attached a few more pics below. the shop will be able to have better ones since they have lifts. a few common questions so far are: yes everything is steel except the rear bumper. i am not aware of any accidents or damage. the broken head stud has not been repaired.

that is all for now, please keep emailing me if interested in the results of the PPI and for further seriously inquiries.
