1969 Porsche 911T Coupe Hotrod 2.2E engine

This is a very nice 1969 Porsche 911 T hotrod 911R/RS R Gruppe style car. No flairs, still sports the original narrow body.

Engine is rebuilt 9k mile 2.2E spec motor with polished heads, E Cams, etc mated to an upgraded clutch, lightweight flywheel and running rebuilt 40IDA Weber carburetors. Motor and trans are like new, run exceptionally well (this little motor has torque!) and clean, with not even the faintest hint of oil leakage anywhere. DANSK dual outlet stainless exhaust and MSD ignition with CrankFire.

I believe the color is Gran Prix white, car was totally restored in the 80's and the paint still shows very well. The interior is like new, new RS door panels and RS carpet, short shift kit, MOMO prototipo wheel and just about perfect dash. Seats in the photos are replaced with cool vintage kevlar leather/cloth Sparco's but I have factory 77 turbo seats or super rare Recaro sport seats, all negotiable. I believe the windows are factory tint. Interior also has retractable seat belts

In proper fashion, the rest of the car including suspension and brakes have all been gone through. Set up is 21/27 torsion bars, Koni adjustables, upgraded sways, poly bushings. Brakes have newer rotors, brand new pads and front calipers with braided lines and Blue DOT 5 fluid. Wheel's are correct 15" Fuchs - Deep 6's with Hearts and 7's. Hella H4's upfront and Optima Red Top battery as well. Tires are 80%.

Additionally, I have a ton of paperwork, documentation and history - I have probably every receipt going back to the 70's.

This is a car that's ready to go and would need very little over the next few years. It has everything it should and nothing it shouldn't. A super fun and exciting street car right now without being too much or annoying. It could be further upgraded to a street/track car with a few additions or made into a docile street car by adding a stock exhaust. I have the rear bumperettes, not shown in photos.

$33,000

Located in Norcal

Thanks for a bunch of emails, PM's, etc on the car, as well as a few offers but as of this morning it's still available.

Also you can't compare this car to a 2.7 or even a 3.0 CIS conversion. I've driven both in early chassis' and from a driving perspective this car is much more responsive, fun and sounds a world better. Seat of the pants feel, it is easily quicker than a 2.7 CIS and would run away from either on a run up the coast.

Have had a number of guys claiming they're "coming here with cash" but the car is still here.

In the last hundred miles it's had RR control arm bushing changed, new oil and plugs, end link bushings and an alignment.

New price $33,000
