Frank is For Sale: 1963 356 T-6 Outlaw

The time has finally come for us to sell Frank, our beloved 356 Outlaw that has served us like a champion over the last 8 years.

- It was found in Al Cadrobbi's back yard in the Summer of 1998 and was disassembled by my father, Tony Gerace, in 1999.
- John Espositio took on the project in late 1999 and, after 4 years of part-time reconstructive surgery, finished Frank in 2003.
- My father spent the next year assembling the entire car and it was finished in the Spring of 2004

"Frank" ... 1963 356 T6 Outlaw

Edit: If you cannot see photos, please go here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/91040721@N07/sets/72157632242983731/

-Approximately 14,000mi on complete restoration
-2.4L Type IV motor
-48mm Webbers
-FAT Performance upright fan shroud with 911 alternator and fan
-Twin auxillary front oil coolers
-901 transmission with long gears
-SWB 911 rear suspension
-Bilstein front and rear shocks ... rears custom made by Bilstein
-15mm front sway bar
-Custom made, adjustable rear sway bar based on 15mm early 911 rear sway bar
-Factory GT fuel tank/sender
-Custom VDO fuel gauge instead of clock
-356 Carrera-style gauges by North Hollywood Speedometer
-6X15 polished deep 6 Fuchs
-911T front brakes (vented discs)
-911 sport seats ... Interior completely retrimmed by Levon and George of Levon's Mobile Upholstery
-Removable roll bar with integral harness bar and Crow 4-point belts
-Moto Lita steering wheel
-Leather hood straps
-Bumpers painted to match (including stripes) are included

I cannot say enough good stuff about this car. It is a phenomenal long-distance traveler, a formidable track day weapon and canyon carver, and a spectacular show car. Frank is fast, comfortable, stable, neutral, and dead nuts reliable. This car has NEVER left me stranded and it NEVER fails to perform as intended. The transmission is geared perfectly for a car with this kind of torque, and the motor is an absolute tank. I have seen an indicated 135mph with a full tank of gas, a passenger, and luggage for two for a weekend in Monterey.

Everywhere this car goes it literally stops traffic. It makes adults and kids stop, look, point and smile. Everyone smiles. This car is just that awesome.

And Frank has been great to us over the last 8 years, but now it's time to pass the torch.

Offered to the discerning Porsche enthusiast for a very reasonable $75,000.

There are other Outlaws out there, some are more expensive and others cost less, but few of them have been road tested and lovingly driven to the extent that this one has. Because of that the price reflects the physical imperfections from days at the racetrack and high speed maneuvers.

I am more than happy to answer any and all questions you may have about Frank.
Please direct all correspondence or requests for information to TLG_Porsche@yahoo.com.
