1977 - 911s - 2.7

I am reluctantly listing my 1977 - 911s with a 2.7 engine (only 3300 made worldwide). This year was the last of the narrow body models but the first year of the galvanized construction. It's a great looking, all original, numbers matching & well sorted Arizona car. Garage kept and insured as a collector car.

It is silver with an all leather black interior. The leather is in great shape, the galvanized body has no rust & the car was resprayed a few years ago. The engine/body have 100k original miles on the speedometer but the engine is less than 500 miles into a full professional rebuild and pulls very strongly.

Here are the highlights;
- fresh engine rebuild by Jakobs on the North Shore ($22k value alone) less than 200 kms since the full rebuild
- valve guides, bearings, all seals, oil cooler, piston rings, valve springs, timing chain, old breather hoses, engine wiring and all oil sensors replaced as part of the work completed a few months ago
- *** all head studs replaced and time-serts installed ***
- engine tuned to perfection for performance
- new clutch
- new fan harness
- new period correct Koni shocks
- new front strut monoball
- new adjustable swing plates & trailing arm bushings
- turbo tie rod
- bump steer kit
- new Pirelli tires
- new engine sheet metal, deck seal
- new suspension pan
- new transmission & engine mounts
- new CV joint boots (joints found to be in great shape, repacked at the same time of course)
- recent full body paint, not perfect but a good 10'er
- new shifter and accelerator pedal bushings
- new fuel accumulator and fuel filter
- new alternator
- updated with a front oil cooler for better engine temperature management
- new engine soundproofing mat
- new spark plugs and distributer
- new ignition switch
- rebuilt brake pistons
- many parts sand blasted & powder coated during suspension refresh
- updated headlights
- new sunroof seal
- recent alignment & camber set-up
- car sits at a "euro stance" ride height and drives beautifully with the new suspension
- the full leather interior and headliner are in really great shape
- the dash has a leather cover, the original is not in good condition
- no accidents reported, no rust anywhere
- rear windows hinge out
- Fibreglass RS ducktail (original rear deck is included in the sale)
- 5-speed 915 transmission

The car comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, original tool kit, receipts and history are all filed neatly in a book and the sale includes the original parts that have been replaced over the past few years.

I am a P-Car fanatic and would like to sell to an enthusiast. This is a special car and needs to go to a great home.

Only contact me if you are serious. The price reflects the fact that this is an incredibly well cared for and rare car.
