SOLD
Finished in Grand Prix White with a full leather Cashmere Beige interior, this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 is a beautiful example of one of the most sought after, collectible Porsches today. The 3.6 liter flat six runs strong and makes glorious sounds through a K&N intake and B&B sport exhaust. The Tiptronic transmission is fun and rewarding to shift manually on spirited drives, and the automatic mode is really handy for relaxed cruising or in-town driving. This car has some rare 17-inch staggered wheels that look like a cross between the OE Cup and Cup 1 wheel designs. I have never seen wheels like this on any Porsche. I don't know what brand they are but they are made in Japan and have a great period-correct look. They are shod with brand new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo2 tires, 225/45 front & 255/40 rear. It feels great going down the road. The full leather interior option means surfaces that are normally vinyl are covered in stitched leather, including the front/rear seats, front/rear door cards, dashboard, console, shifter & parking brake handle. At some point the original seats were swapped out for partial leather ones with 4-way power, but the interior is super nice and still smells new (my wife says it smells like a Gucci handbag). Other upgrades include later style teardrop mirrors, front bumperette delete and an Alpine stereo with trunk-mounted 6-disc CD changer & amplifier. The rear deck speaker system looks to be aftermarket with a large enclosure and center subwoofer. This is probably the best sounding stereo I've ever heard in a 911. Always a West coast car, garaged and well-maintained with 3 owners. Current mileage is just over 108k. Clean title & CARFAX. Recent work includes a new starter, battery, tires, power steering belt, crank position sensor and struts for the hood & decklid. Things that still need attention: AC needs a recharge, rear spoiler unplugged due to gear noise, clearcoat is peeling under passenger side mirror and there is a small rust bubble at lower right corner of the windshield. Other not-so-pressing items include cracks in the center reflector & right taillight, bolster wear on the driver's seat and a few minor paint chips. Overall, this is a very solid, clean and presentable Porsche 911 that you can drive daily and still carve canyons, participate in club events, Cars & Coffee, etc. All aircooled Porsche values are going up. If you research the current MARKET values (NOT BOOK values) of this model, you will see it is a fair price. We would love to keep it but are selling it to buy another home. $39,900 Thanks for looking! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
