1973.5 Targa Project

Bought this a few years ago to restore but I have a full plate at the moment with multiple ongoing projects.

Solid car that was stored for decades. Older dull paint that shown no signs of rust other than the front suspension pan (metal sections) included. No signs of accidents. Sepia brown. Brown Leatherette per COA. Original engine was pulled and is partially disassembled by POs. I bought a sweet 2.7 cis to install and to rebuild the 2.4 at a later date. 15x6 (#4 only) Fuchs as per COA included. Car received a black interior over the years. Mileage shows 54401. Per PO this car had been off the road in GA for many years. It was stored dry. I have a nice CIS gas tank to go with the car. I think it can be made into a running car relatively quick. Paint and cosmetics can be addressed later IMO. car with both engines as is. $36.5K located in CT

More to follow. Very solid car. Rust as far as I have seen is limited to rocker section of front fenders and the suspension pan.

Update on this car. It has been a while since my original post. The car is now a runner (has been for most of this year). I had a 2.7 cis installed. Brakes are restored (rebuilt/replated properly). The original 2.4 is included in the new price of $40K. Also included is $2K worth Sikkens Sepia (original color) paint. This car is extremely solid and metal is all original from what I can see underneath. Undercoating and seams are nice and original. Front pan needs to be replaced. Interior is complete (missing a few floor carpets) but not installed fully at this time. Targa top needs to de redone. New tires on 15x6 Fuchs 9 (good date code). No rust bubbles on body. Door gaps are spot on. Here are some updated pictures:

Having some picture uploading issues. PM with a number that I can text pictures to. Will try to post pictures at my earliest. Crappy paint job cleaned up reasonably well for a driver.
