1973 911T, Numbers-Matching, Speed Yellow, ROW Project, $15K

Look beneath the rust and this 911T is desirable project. Documented, RoW, Speed Yellow, Longhoods don't pop up everyday. This one comes with a CoA and a clear TN title. Disassembled years ago after sitting exposed to the elements in Alabama for years, this one is daunting, for sure. However, it is a numbers-matching, RoW longhood 911T originally in Speed Yellow. The rare sports seats are there, but need major help. Comes with a plastic gas tank that has been punctured (see photos). The wheels are 15": 7" in front and 8" out back. Was converted to a an M491-look years ago, but the steel flares were removed when rust appeared. Only the left steel fender remains. Fiberglass flares were sourced, but never installed. Comes with doors and door skin and several whale-tail engine covers. Has had the front and rear parts of the tub rewelded in a rudimentary fashion.

The engine is covered in mouse dens and mud-dauber nests, but it has not been fully disassembled. Has 40TIN Zenith carb's (RoW, to the best of our knowledge). Engine type is 911/57 and the engine serial number is 6533153. The shell is stamped 911 3 501816. Chain tensioners appear to be gone. Air cleaner is absent.

There are several crates of parts that come with the project, but condition and completeness cannot be assured. When in doubt, refer to the photos and assume the worst. For the right person/business, this project has an upside, but I do not wish to over-sell it. There is a ton of work here, but they aren't making these anymore, so there is a potential upside to bringing this one back to life. This car has been passed through the family for years, and it's clear it will not be revived by the family. It's time to pass it along to someone who can find the upside in taking on a project of this magnitude.

This is a an all-or-nothing, as-is/where-is sale. Don't ask about specific parts unless you're willing to buy the whole project in order to get them. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. Reasonable offers encouraged.
