Audio unit cutting on and Off

It's very strange problem. Our Stereo unit just keep turning of and on. No codes or anything. Has anyone experienced this?

Yes - it's caused by some Sirius XM change - very frustrating - call a dealer to see if there is a fix

Just got an email for PCNA. Do a vehicle handover reset. That fix has been on the web since the Sirius-XM update blew up our radios. Some folks have written that it took a couple of resets to stick. It's a pain in that it blows out all your setting and the jukebox. Vehicle history data is not cleared, nor is Porsche Connect (I have an eHybrid).

Funny story - my daughter and I started a 12 hour road trip from Minnesota to Nashville and this started happening. Plus each time it resets, it would revert to the station and volume from the time you started the car, which happened to be Lithium at Max volume!! We didnt make it 20 miles before I made my daughter find the dealership number and have the technician walk us through the fix. That would have been an unbearable trip. You can't even turn it off, it was just an endless loop.

Check the Panamera thread here, I have it too and my car has been in the shop since Friday. Handover did not work for me, neither did cancelling Sirius...

I have a 2008 Cayenne V6. No Sirius XM or satellite signals.
The radio turns on and off. It is mostly off.
Some times it comes on with the display in german and does not respond to pressing any of the buttons.
Other times, I am able to press Audio and lets me select a station.
Would this Handover reset work on mine?

Thank you for any advice you can provide.
Raulg
