2005 cayenne manual w/o clutch drivable?

Hi, everyone.
I'm thinking about purchasing 2005 V6 Cayenne (180K mi) with slave clutch cylinder problem (whatever it is).
Officially the car in this condition is not drivable.
But... can I still drive it without clutch as the other (older) cars - start with starter and shift as revs go up/down?
Assumed distance to drive is 50 miles.
Thanks in advance.

wwdwgs,
This is an interesting question. I have read about shifting without clutch in a few places. I have never tried it.
If the distance you need to take the vehicle to is 50 miles, I would have it towed. It may not be cheap but it will be way cheaper than causing damage to the gearbox and then having to tow it to get a new gearbox.
I have an old 944, I found out the hard way a few times trying to save a buck ends up costing me way more.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck with your Cayenne.

are the 50 miles highway? - i'm not sure if you can synchro drive a cayenne - i don't see why you couldn't unless porsche put in some sort of electronics to prevent it - if you can, and they are highway miles, once you get into higher gears you should be able to just cruise - or you could try filling the reservoir to the top and seeing how bad the slave or line is leaking - maybe get enough shifts out of it to get it home - the clutch might share fluid with the brakes - so it would be that reservoir
