2009 Turbo S brakes

My Cayenne finally gave me a brake pad warning. Aside from the price, is this car any different from any other when it comes to brake pad replacement, brake fluid flush and bleeding? Do sensors need to be replaced? Thinking of doing this at home. Any codes that need special equipment to clear?

Any recommendations for brake pads? It does get driven hard and is used for towing.

if the sensors are like the old 928's..and i believe they are, you will have to replace the sensor that tripped the warning light - they are a piece plastic with a thin wire inside them that wears away when they come in contact with the rotor - this happens when pads get too thin - the computer sees the open circuit and lights up dash - i doubt all 4 would be worn away - you would have to find the one that is worn and replace it - they can be tested at their wire connection - continuity means they are good - i don't know about the actual procedure or if a new sensor resets the computer - on the old cars a new sensor turns light off, but not as computerized as these

I also replaced the rotors while I was in there (although I could have probably not done so). I ordered the Pelican kit for this as you are supposed to replace the bolts and the sensors (those pads worked well and have been quiet and long lasting). It was pretty straight forward, but some of the bolts took a significant amount of strength and a long breaker bar. I followed the instructions in the Technical Articles section without problem. I did not have to bleed them afterwards as I did not remove the caliper pistons or the calipers...just swung them back out of the way to replace the rotors.

this is 08cayenne I'm still having a problem bleeding the brakes I bought the motive brake bleed and no success however; im thinking the ABS is loaded with air and will not activate (without towing the vehicle to a garage) I was watching a video where a guy took his vehicle (not a Porsche) to an open field and built up and slammed his brakes several times until the ABS activated;
so I was wondering if it would be advisable to set the vehicle on jack stands and build up speed and slam the brake to try and activate the ABS
