Electrical trailer hitch error message 955 Turbo S 2006
 

Hello!

Grabbed a unicorn 955 Turbo S a little while back and have an error code in the dash for the trailer hitch. Its an electrical folding trailer hitch and the button in the trunk is also blinking red.

Anyone had similar issues if so, what could be wrong?

I'm thinking a micro switch /breaker / sensor might have corroded or something? Looked but cant seem to find anything really.

Any help is appreciated!

Is this the OEM folding trailer hitch or aftermarket? The OEM part number for the retractable tow hitch is a Westfalia part number 7L0 907 383 F

If OEM a Durametric may be able to read the code.
