Ongoing P0069 - 2013 Cayenne GTS

2013 Cayenne GTS with a P0069 code (iCarsoft - Stored, Pending and Permanent - Barometric Pressure Correlation).
Intermittently getting a P0106 while trouble shooting (Permanent- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Sensor Circuit Range/Performance).

In Fall of 2022, I performed a lot of maintenance - this included the following:
  • Air Oil Separator
  • Serpentine
  • Pulleys and Tensioner
  • Thermostat
  • Water Pump
  • Upgraded thermostat housing 948-106-080-02 - (old, glued housing was not leaking at 95k miles but I didn't want to worry about it any longer).
  • Coolant vent pipe under IM
  • Pinned the rear crossover pipe (glued fitting was not leaking and would not budge so I pinned it for extra security).
  • Vacuum pump (rear of bank 1)

Since then, I've only put about 3k miles on it and recently got a CEL with the code P0069. Initially, I did a smoke test with no visible leaks and changed the MAP sensor since it was simple. After clearing the code, it came back several miles later.

I've changed the air filters and cleaned the throttle body with the code returning.

After another review of the components I worked on, I saw some oil between bank 2 and the valve cover (pic) and decided to remove the IM again. As you can see it's only on the right side. There is no oil on the underside of the AOS hose that connects to front of IM. Valve cover gaskets do not appear to be leaking.

I reinstalled the IM with new gaskets, cleaned oil off and also replaced the air intake change over valve to begin narrowing down possible faulty parts.

During a 20 mile drive today I noticed the throttle is laggy/weak and gear changes from 2nd to 3rd gear are met with constrained acceleration (power and response just doesn't seem right) - you have to give it more than normal throttle. After a I took off from a stop with moderate throttle the CEL returned with a P0069. Once home again, I looked and saw new oil had appeared (pic).

Intake Manifold Adjusting unit causing flaps not to work correctly and affecting intake pressure?
Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid (have not replaced)?
Faulty, new AOS that I installed?
All tightening specs were closely followed - though, I did not purchase new IM bolts

At a loss at this point and maybe it's obvious to someone here - appreciate any help you can offer.

I can't say that I agree with that statement.

IDK how else oil is getting to those spots shown.
