Hi,
I'd like to run some semi-aggressive AT tires with a larger side profile on the 18" rims I have now. I don't have the air suspension option on my Cayenne S and would love to learn about the options for raising it up a bit. 2" lift would be about right but what's out there that others have tried and how high did you raise it? Tire size suggestions with corresponding lift heights will get you extra credit. ![]() Thanks for the help!

I don't think anyone makes a kit for them. The only aftermarket coil overs I have seen are all stock ride height set ups. I would also imagine that with the driveshaft issues the car already has changing the angle of the shaft might be a bit of a problem.

Excellence or Panorama had an article of a lifted Cayenne a couple issues ago. I'll see if I can find it. Had all the info of tires and suspension.

Bumping this up for another related question (and to see if anyone knows about the original). What's the max tire size for an unlifted Cayenne without air suspension? I've read that 265/60/18 fits, anyone have pics of this setup? Looking at the Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tire. Had these on a Jeep and loved them for offroad and onroad performance.

I would research the tire/wheel options that Porsche offered for your vehicle/year and use that as your guide.

I just put on Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx tires 265/60-18 on my Cayenne S without air suspension. Fit great. Haven't been able to get them to rub but it's close. Looks much better than the 255/55-18 stock tires.

How have those 265/60 18 tires worked out? Any rubbing issues? Just looking at A/T tires for my '08 S on steel springs... Thanks! Jordan |
