Parking Brake Cable Retainer
My parking brake pedal wasn't coming up all the way and instead of replacing the gas spring I just got in the habit of pulling it up with my foot. This probably wasn't the best idea. This weekend the parking brake pedal went straight to the floor with no resistance.
After looking around I determined that the cable has popped out of the pedal assembly. I found this broken part on the floor, which I think it supposed to keep the cable in the pedal when it's released. If I put the cable back in the pedal it works again once, but pops out when I release it. Does anyone know if this part is available separately from the whole pedal assembly? Sorry I don't have a photo of the whole part, but I drew an arrow showing where I think it came from. TIA ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I'd be pretty surprised if you can find that one piece separately. Your best bet might be to check ebay or a junkyard. You can always shoot us a message and have one of sales expert look into it too https://www.pelicanparts.com/support/ContactUs.htm
