Climate Control unit doesn't power up
 

I just removed the PCM and climate control head to get to the ashtray on an 08 cayenne s. Everything went back together easily, but when I turned on car, there are no lights on for the climate control. I did not unplug the unit when i took out the ashtray. Is my head unit dead? What did I do wrong? Radio works fine. I also checked the two fuses for air conditioning, both were intact.

Thanks for suggestions where to look next.

It's cold in Chicago and would like to get back up this weekend
