Little "popping" sound from stearing wheel
Dear all,
Hope someone can help me My cayenne S 2012 is making a very small "pop" sound from the stearing wheel when I am accelerating and holding tight to the stearing wheel. It also occurs over bumps. U can actually feel the stearing wheel moving a little tiny bit back when it happens. When is has just popped it doesn't just pop again.. then it takes around 10-15 min of slow driving, and then if I accelerate again or drive over a bump it will occcur again. Even when the car stands still for a couple of hours in my garage I can pull back the stearing wheel and make it pop. It's a very small pop sound. Any idea what it can be? |

sounds like to you have gap in your steering, maybe something is coming loose or broke. Removing the steering wheel cover is not so difficult to inspect. Be careful with the airbag or better then take it in to a dealer and ask them if the popping sound is airbag related, this will probably get you a free inspection as a guess. Good luck.
