Interesting article, I tow with my 06 Cayenne S my hunting jeep and a ton load of other items on the bed, does really well. It also climbs up steep hills when I'm off roading, love the car but you really have to be good with a wrench to own one.

I towed a 4x8 enclosed trailer loaded to the top from NY to WV up some pretty steep hills with my 2004 V6 with 140k miles on it and it performed like a champ. I tow my 5x10 trailer with 2 quads all of the time.

Indeed it is a towing beast! With it's 385bhp, it sure did pull the Air France's A380 across 42 metres.

I know sounds kinda silly, but it did set a Guinness record. However it was driven from London to the test and back home again. Plus they did the same tow with a turbo Cayenne too.
Remember that Toyota made hay with towing the space shuttle, and I bet it's much lighter than an A380…
