GTI peformance exhaust?
Hey all!
Im wondering where a good spot to look for a performance exhaust would be for a 1999 2.8L VW GTI VR6?? Any input would be cool!! TNX Mike

I had a twin Borla system on my 97 VR6, where I could easily take off one muffler and replace with a straight-pipe when I wanted (but performance was better with both mufflers on).
I loved this system but most folks prefer the techtonics (aka TT) exhaust. I bought the Borla system from New Dimensions ( http://www.ndimports.com/ but I see they no longer sell the Borla. This is a great forum, but if you want to talk GTI's you should go to http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=4 Lots of opinions there! Techtonics sounds like it is still the number one choice! I have heard almost every different GTI exhaust there was (VR6 club member) until I traded it for a Subaru WRX turbo a year ago. Good luck !!
