engine for a VW BUG
does anyone knows what engine should be the better options for replaicing the 1600cc of a 1981 VW BUG.........any ideas?????

You can make all kinds of performance modifications to a 1600 dual port motor. Look at samba.com for ideas..

consider a 2.0L type4 (914) engine, it will bolt right in with the correct flywheel.
