Tiptronnic install in project car?
Ive aquired a full tiptronic tranny from a 91 964 including the computer, linkage, flywheel and torque converter, all nuts and bolts, ect and wondering if I should even mess with it at all. The car will likely be a cab conversion to a targa so wife could ocaisonaly drive her. Ive heard that I can run into trouble with computers and such. Anyone with experience in this arena?? Since this isn't a VW conversion, have you thought about moving this to the 911 tech board? If I'm reading this correctly, since I can't imagine the Tip infront of a type I.
