I have a 1960 beetle & fitting a Subaru boxer turbo motor & sporta matic trans I have done all the work my self including the adapter plate & mounting the gear box photos soon Neil Perth Australia |

I have a 68 912 that will get a '04 wrx motor (its on my garage floor now). I have to finish another project first. I am sure that you have heard of www.germanlook.com Good info there FIY |

I have not having a lot of luck to find any info on the box .
I have now made the box into a full manual , removed the converter / out put extension / hydralic clutch . |

Subaru 2.5 into a full automatic
Anyone have the name of that new company that makes bell housings for the VW Bus gearbox or vanagon automatic.
Our parts chaser 356 needs more power, and I can't shift and drive while holding my cool and refreshing beverage. |

I make the adapter plates & fly wheels down in Australia for vw conversions .I have done a few autos but manual conversions are the go down here .

There was a post on shoptalk that a guy here in the states used a vw auto with Shuby. I'll see if I can find that post
