Boxing/Welding front torsion arms
 
Hello-

I've been reading Duane Spencer's "356 Performance Guide" and he recommends boxing (aka welding) the front torsion arms. Apparently it greatly reduces the flex in the arms. Does anyone know how well this will work on a type 1 VW?
