Bay bus w/911 motor conversion
I've seen the end result a few times, but never been able to get the installation details. Anyone successfully been through the process, willing to share some information ?
I have a 2.7 for the project + other P- parts from prior projects, oh and a decent sunroof bus to work with, Woody |

I have a 71 bus with a 2.2 six. I bought it this way but alot can be learned from it. The 2.2 is setup with zenith carbs and a regular coil no cdi ignition. That keeps it simple. The 911 oil tank is mounted in the right corner so you have cut out that part behind the wheel well. With a 2.7 you will need an external oil cooler. Don't skimp on the lines at least -12. Mocal is a good source. Kennedyeng.com will have the flywheel and clutch kit. The only thing you have to do is fab the motor mount. I have some pics at project914.com mixed in with pics of the white six. Let me know if there is a better pic you want.
