Vw Top plate mount on 944?
i heard 944 front suspension is the same as an vw rabbit ? anyone know ?

Yours looks like the below, three studs coming up through the top? These are more like super beetle ones if so. Not surprisingly though the strut is the same for '71-79 VW super beetles/924s/944s.
