911sc steel WB cab V8 FS soon
hi all,
preparing to sell a 911 V8 conversion, actually purchased from another member here a few months ago, but still waiting on the NYS title. big engine, cam, clutch and exhaust make it just too much muscle car for me and wife is banishing it for being too loud and fast. so i am going back to a 993 tip we both can enjoy. donor is 1978 911sc targa converted to cab. 383 stroker , 930 transaxle, 964 brakes really cool car with fresh white paint, steel widebody flares and lots more goodies, of both porsche and GM vintage. 132k kms on the clock, about 3k miles on the conversion. i have tons of receipts and lots of pics. seller is a good guy who put a lot into this build. i have almost a 20k cost in the car (incl shipping and tax) and would like to recoup that, and theres probably close to double that in parts and labor in the car. please PM me if you might be interested. car is on LI if youre local and want to take a look. regards john.

hi again.
just got word from NYS DMV that my title (bought out of state) wil be processed 10/3 and my 993 is on the way from Cali. i will post some pics and lots of detail this coming week. stay tuned and pls let me know if you have interest. i dont have many posts here but long time lurker and lots of posts on RL also. cheers
