I am surprised at the mounting method.

Other Vanagon conversions I have seen kept the original read door and the moustache bar was inside.

I wonder what trans they were using.

I think they use a g50/03 instead of a g50/01...
I will retrofit a nose cone and a hockey stick from a g50/50 in my g50/52 I forgot to mention...
I will post some more pictures from another one shortly !!

Now that I have a motor & trans sitting in my Doka, I understand the location they chose.

The G50 trans is longer and would require some chassis mods to fit everything within. Unless they shortened the trans at its donut mount, or did both.

Using the rear bumper to cover the engine mount crossmember is a great way to hide the extension.
