944 engine swap advice needed
 

Hi it's been a long time since I've had a 944. But I just picked up a running one with a few thing needed. I plan to drive it with the existing engine, but would love to do a engine swap. Engines I was thinking of 4 cyl Hyundai turbo 4 cyl Subaru boxer engine or anything else but the ls mods I normally see I'm looking to do an easy mod, which I know none are easy even down to changing the whole wiring harness. Any advice and links appreciated thanks.

Going with an lt1 for mine...you can buy the conversion kits for ls1 or lt1 so custom fabrication is minimal.

LS1 for sure.

Jferr, why an LT1? It's pretty dismal compared to the LSx engines, and at the end of the day no cheaper.
